Custom Kitchen Cabinets in Kendall
About six in ten homes in Kendall date from the 1970s and 1980s. For a kitchen that age, the first question is whether the boxes can stay or new cabinets are the better buy.
- New cabinets or refacing
- Pull-outs and organizers planned in 3D
- All-plywood boxes, soft-close
Kendall's 1970s and 1980s kitchens
Kendall grew from east to west. Rapid development began in the 1950s near today's Pinecrest, and through the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s building moved west. By Census estimates about a third of the homes in the Kendall census area were built in the 1970s and another quarter in the 1980s.
If your kitchen still has its original cabinets, two paths start from there. If the boxes are sound plywood or solid wood and the layout works, new doors, drawer fronts and hinges may be enough; that is cabinet refacing. If the boxes are particleboard, swollen under the sink, or the layout is changing, new cabinets are the better buy. The designer looks at the boxes at the in-home measure and tells you which case yours is.
New cabinets are built to the measured walls in our Coral Springs shop, with all-plywood boxes, dovetail drawers and soft-close hardware. For the rest of the room, see kitchen remodeling in Kendall.

Kendall, FL · Instant estimate
Know what your kitchen remodel costs before anyone walks through your door.
A few quick questions, one honest range built from what we actually charge in South Florida — not a national average from a website that has never seen your kitchen.
What it costs in 2026
What Dreamery projects cost in 2026: a standard kitchen (15–25 linear ft of cabinets) runs $19,000–$24,500 at the Essential level, more for larger layouts and premium finishes; bathrooms from $6,000 for a powder room to $38,000–$49,000 in labor for a Premium primary suite, plus finish materials you buy at retail; flooring $10–18 per sq ft with a $3,000 minimum; whole-home renovations $35–75 per sq ft of living area. Every number comes from our own signed contracts, not a national average — get the range for your project in the calculator. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. 3D design package: $99 (regularly $500), free when you sign the contract.
Cabinets are quoted per project, not per foot from a brochure: the price depends on the number of boxes, door style, finish and hardware. Your 3D design comes with one written, itemized quote where the cabinet line is shown separately from countertops and labor.
Because the cabinets come from our own shop, you skip the showroom markup: the same all-plywood, dovetail-drawer construction at direct-from-manufacturer pricing. Promotional financing is available for qualified buyers through our lending partners; pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull.

Houses, townhomes and towers
About 40% of Kendall homes are detached houses and about 16% are townhouses, by Census estimates, while nearly a fifth are in buildings of 50 units or more. For a narrow townhome kitchen, the options include tall pantry units, drawers in place of base doors and, where the space allows, a peninsula instead of an island. In a tower the boxes are sized to the service elevator and the corridor, which the designer measures at the consultation.
Our shop is in Coral Springs, in Broward. The designer comes to you with door and finish samples, so you choose them in your own kitchen's light.

Questions homeowners ask us
Are 1970s cabinets worth refacing?
Sometimes. If the boxes are solid, the doors are the only problem and you like the layout, refacing puts new doors, drawer fronts and hinges on what is there. If the sink base is soft from old leaks, the boxes are particleboard, or you want drawers where there are shelves, new cabinets do more for the money.
Can you build drawer organizers and pull-outs into the new cabinets?
Yes. Cutlery and utensil dividers, a pull-out trash base, roll-out pantry shelves, tray slots above the oven and corner pull-outs are planned in the 3D design, so each one has a place before the boxes are built. Planned storage like this is part of our Signature level.
Do you install cabinets in Kendall condos?
Yes. We get the association's rules for deliveries, elevator bookings and work hours first, measure the elevator and corridor with the kitchen, and build the boxes in sizes that fit.
How are new cabinets priced for a Kendall kitchen?
Per project, with the cabinet line shown separately in the written quote. For the whole kitchen, turnkey without appliances, the calculator gives $19,000–$24,500 for a standard L or U kitchen at the Essential level and $31,500–$41,000 at Signature, where painted or veneer doors and planned storage come in.
Do you build bathroom vanities too?
Yes. Vanities, medicine cabinets and linen towers come from the same shop, and they can match the kitchen finish.
How long from the consultation to installed cabinets?
The 3D design and an itemized price arrive within 5 business days of the consultation. Production starts after you sign, and a typical kitchen is finished 4–6 weeks after the contract is signed.
