Custom Kitchen Cabinets in Hialeah
About seven in ten Hialeah homes went up between 1950 and 1989, in roughly equal shares per decade. Each kitchen gets cabinets drawn for its own walls and built in our shop.
- Boxes sized to your openings, not to 3-inch catalog steps
- Uppers to the ceiling, drawer banks instead of base doors
- All-plywood boxes, dovetail drawers, soft-close hardware
- 3D design $99 (reg. $500), free when you sign
Four decades of Hialeah kitchens
Hialeah did not go up all at once. By Census estimates, about as many of today's homes were built in the 1950s as in the 1960s, the 1970s and the 1980s, roughly a sixth in each decade, and the median home dates from about 1975. So the cabinets that come out of a Hialeah kitchen range from 1950s originals in Hialeah Acres to builder cabinets from the 1980s, when Mango Hill was rising on the west side.
The older kitchens are often short runs broken up by a window and a doorway or two, and the openings are seldom a catalog width. Stock boxes come in 3-inch steps, so the leftover inches turn into filler strips and a corner nobody can reach. Cabinets drawn for the room put those inches to work: a narrow pull-out next to the range, a drawer bank where a base door used to be, uppers that run to the ceiling.
The 1980s kitchens have a different weak spot. Many builder cabinets of that period were particleboard, and the sink base is where it swells first. Our boxes are all plywood, with dovetail drawers and soft-close hardware as standard.

Know what your kitchen remodel costs before anyone walks through your door.
A few quick questions, one honest range built from what we actually charge in South Florida — not a national average from a website that has never seen your kitchen.
What it costs in 2026
What Dreamery projects cost in 2026: a standard kitchen (15–25 linear ft of cabinets) runs $19,000–$24,500 at the Essential level, more for larger layouts and premium finishes; bathrooms from $6,000 for a powder room to $38,000–$49,000 in labor for a Premium primary suite, plus finish materials you buy at retail; flooring $10–18 per sq ft with a $3,000 minimum; whole-home renovations $35–75 per sq ft of living area. Every number comes from our own signed contracts, not a national average — get the range for your project in the calculator. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. 3D design package: $99 (regularly $500), free when you sign the contract.
Cabinets are quoted per project, not per foot from a brochure: the price depends on the number of boxes, door style, finish and hardware. Your 3D design comes with one written, itemized quote where the cabinet line is shown separately from countertops and labor.
Because the cabinets come from our own shop, you skip the showroom markup: the same all-plywood, dovetail-drawer construction at direct-from-manufacturer pricing. Promotional financing is available for qualified buyers through our lending partners; pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull.

Houses, townhomes and apartment buildings
About four in ten Hialeah homes are detached houses, about one in ten is a townhouse, and more than a quarter are in buildings of 20 units or more. In a house the cabinets come in through the front door. In a townhome the kitchen is often narrow, so drawers and pull-outs do more than extra wall cabinets would. In a larger building the association sets the delivery window and the work hours, and we fit the schedule to them before anything is ordered.

Questions homeowners ask us
My Hialeah kitchen is from the 1950s. Will stock cabinets fit?
Usually, with filler strips wherever an opening is not a catalog width and often a blind corner that is hard to reach. Cabinets built to the measured wall avoid both. In a small 1950s kitchen the difference usually adds up to a drawer bank or a pull-out pantry.
What happens to the soffit above the old cabinets?
If it is empty framing, it comes out and the wall cabinets run to the ceiling. If it hides a duct or a pipe, the design works around it. The designer checks during the consultation, and the answer goes into the itemized quote.
Do you build cabinets for Hialeah townhomes and condos?
Yes. In a narrow townhome kitchen we use the height and the depth: tall pantry units, drawers instead of doors, a peninsula where an island would block the walkway. In a condo building we get the association's delivery and work-hour rules first and size the boxes for the elevator.
What are the cabinet boxes made of?
All plywood, with solid-wood dovetail drawers and soft-close hinges and slides. That is standard on every Dreamery kitchen, not an upgrade, and it holds up to Florida humidity far better than particleboard.
How long from design to installed cabinets?
The 3D design and one itemized price arrive within 5 business days of the consultation. After you sign, the cabinets are built in our Coral Springs shop, and a typical kitchen is finished 4–6 weeks after the contract is signed.
Can I pay for my kitchen over time?
Promotional financing options may be available for qualified buyers through our lending partners. Pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull that does not affect your score. Dreamery is not a lender; offers are subject to lender approval.
