Custom Kitchen Cabinets in Pembroke Pines
More than a third of Pembroke Pines homes went up in the 1990s. If yours still has the builder's cabinets, we replace them with cabinets drawn for the room and built in our own shop.
- Shaker, slab or painted fronts
- Pantry walls and drawer banks
- All-plywood boxes, soft-close
Replacing a 1990s builder kitchen
Pembroke Pines grew west in the 1990s. By Census estimates about 36% of today's homes were built in that decade and 57% between 1980 and 1999, and west of I-75 most subdivisions date from after 1992.
If your kitchen has raised-panel doors in oak or white thermofoil, a soffit over the wall cabinets and a pantry that is just a tall door, it is a kitchen of its time. Where only the thermofoil has started to lift near the oven or the dishwasher and the boxes are sound, new doors may be enough. Where the sink base has swollen after a leak or the boxes are particleboard throughout, new cabinets are the better buy.
New cabinets keep what works. If the sink, range and refrigerator sit in sensible places, they stay, and the change is in the boxes and what is inside them: pantry roll-outs, drawer banks, uppers to the ceiling where the soffit is empty. Pembroke Pines, FL · Instant estimate
Know what your kitchen remodel costs before anyone walks through your door.
A few quick questions, one honest range built from what we actually charge in South Florida — not a national average from a website that has never seen your kitchen.
What it costs in 2026
What Dreamery projects cost in 2026: a standard kitchen (15–25 linear ft of cabinets) runs $19,000–$24,500 at the Essential level, more for larger layouts and premium finishes; bathrooms from $6,000 for a powder room to $38,000–$49,000 in labor for a Premium primary suite, plus finish materials you buy at retail; flooring $10–18 per sq ft with a $3,000 minimum; whole-home renovations $35–75 per sq ft of living area. Every number comes from our own signed contracts, not a national average — get the range for your project in the calculator. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. 3D design package: $99 (regularly $500), free when you sign the contract.
Cabinets are quoted per project, not per foot from a brochure: the price depends on the number of boxes, door style, finish and hardware. Your 3D design comes with one written, itemized quote where the cabinet line is shown separately from countertops and labor.
Because the cabinets come from our own shop, you skip the showroom markup: the same all-plywood, dovetail-drawer construction at direct-from-manufacturer pricing. Promotional financing is available for qualified buyers through our lending partners; pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull.

Houses, townhomes and Century Village
About 46% of Pembroke Pines homes are detached houses and 14% are attached homes such as townhouses, by Census estimates. In a townhome kitchen along one long wall, a tall pantry unit and a run of drawer banks put more within reach than a row of base doors.
Century Village has more than 7,000 apartments in 27 floor plans, from about 600 to 1,500 square feet. If the sink and the layout are staying, as they often do where the plumbing stack sets the sink's place, the cabinet plan can focus on storage. The association approves the work and sets the hours, and we get its rules first.

Questions homeowners ask us
Our white thermofoil doors are peeling. Can we just replace the doors?
If the boxes are sound and the layout works, yes: refacing puts new doors, drawer fronts and hinges on the existing boxes. If the sink base has swollen or the boxes are particleboard throughout, new doors will not fix them, and new cabinets are the better buy. The designer looks at the boxes at the in-home measure.
Can you build a pantry wall?
Yes. Tall units with roll-out shelves bring the back of each shelf to you, so nothing gets lost behind the cans. If there is room, the pantry wall can take the place of the old pantry door and a broom closet.
Do you work in Century Village?
Yes. We get the association's rules on approvals, hours and deliveries first, design the kitchen around the unit's plumbing stack and build the cabinets to the unit's measurements.
How are new cabinets priced in Pembroke Pines?
Per project, with the cabinet line on its own in the itemized quote. For the whole kitchen, turnkey without appliances, the calculator gives $19,000–$24,500 for a standard L or U kitchen at the Essential level and $26,000–$33,500 for a large kitchen with an island.
What are the new boxes made of?
All plywood, with solid-wood dovetail drawers and soft-close hinges and slides, on every kitchen. A builder sink base in particleboard swells after a slow leak; plywood holds up to it far better.
How long does the cabinet work take?
Within 5 business days of the consultation you get the 3D design and one itemized price. The cabinets go into production after you sign, and a typical kitchen is installed 4–6 weeks after signing.
