Custom Kitchen Cabinets in Doral
Two-thirds of Doral's homes went up in 2000 or later, many of them townhomes, and many kitchens still have the builder's cabinets. We replace them with cabinets drawn for the room and built in our own shop.
- Slab, shaker or handleless fronts, chosen with samples at home
- Built to the measured wall, no filler strips
- Boxes sized for townhome stairs and condo elevators
- All-plywood boxes, dovetail drawers, soft-close
Young kitchens with the builder's cabinets
Doral's housing is young: the median home was built around 2006. By Census estimates about two-thirds of its homes were built in 2000 or later and four in ten since 2010. More than a quarter are townhouses, such as the roughly 800 Lennar townhomes at Landmark near Downtown Doral, and close to a third are in buildings of 50 units or more.
In homes this young, what owners usually want to replace is the builder's choice: one door style picked for hundreds of units, shelves where drawers would work better, a pantry that is just a tall door. Where the sink, range and refrigerator already sit in the right places, we keep them and change the boxes, the doors and the storage inside.
Fronts that suit Doral's newer homes
In contemporary communities such as Modern Doral, slab fronts, handleless doors, two-tone runs and panels over the refrigerator and dishwasher fit the architecture. Shaker doors suit the earlier family homes. You choose the style and the finish with samples at home, and the 3D design shows them in your own kitchen before you sign.

Doral, FL · Instant estimate
Know what your kitchen remodel costs before anyone walks through your door.
A few quick questions, one honest range built from what we actually charge in South Florida — not a national average from a website that has never seen your kitchen.
What it costs in 2026
What Dreamery projects cost in 2026: a standard kitchen (15–25 linear ft of cabinets) runs $19,000–$24,500 at the Essential level, more for larger layouts and premium finishes; bathrooms from $6,000 for a powder room to $38,000–$49,000 in labor for a Premium primary suite, plus finish materials you buy at retail; flooring $10–18 per sq ft with a $3,000 minimum; whole-home renovations $35–75 per sq ft of living area. Every number comes from our own signed contracts, not a national average — get the range for your project in the calculator. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. 3D design package: $99 (regularly $500), free when you sign the contract.
Cabinets are quoted per project, not per foot from a brochure: the price depends on the number of boxes, door style, finish and hardware. Your 3D design comes with one written, itemized quote where the cabinet line is shown separately from countertops and labor.
Because the cabinets come from our own shop, you skip the showroom markup: the same all-plywood, dovetail-drawer construction at direct-from-manufacturer pricing. Promotional financing is available for qualified buyers through our lending partners; pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull.

Townhomes, towers and gated communities
In a long, narrow townhome kitchen, tall pantry units, drawer banks and a peninsula instead of an island make the most of the room. In a tower the boxes have to fit the service elevator and the corridor, so we measure both at the consultation. Many Doral communities are gated, and contractor registration, work hours and truck parking are checked with the association before the schedule is set.

Questions homeowners ask us
My Doral townhome is from the 2010s. Is it worth replacing cabinets that are not that old?
Sometimes not. If the boxes are sound and the storage works for you, keep them. People replace them when the sink base has swollen after a leak, when shelves and doors are not the storage they need, or when the door style no longer fits the house. The in-home consultation is free, and the designer will tell you which case yours is.
Can you build handleless or slab-front cabinets?
Yes. Slab fronts with finger pulls or push-to-open hardware, two-tone runs and panels for panel-ready appliances are all built in our own shop, and you see them in 3D in your own kitchen before you sign.
Do I have to change my layout?
No. If the layout works for you, keeping the sink, range and refrigerator where they are saves time and money, and the change is in the cabinets, the doors and the storage inside them.
Will the cabinets fit my building's elevator?
We measure the elevator and the corridor at the consultation and size the boxes to fit, so they arrive finished and go straight to the wall.
How long from design to installed cabinets?
The 3D design and one itemized price arrive within 5 business days of the consultation. After you sign, the cabinets are built in our Coral Springs shop, and a typical kitchen is finished 4–6 weeks after the contract is signed.
Can I pay for my kitchen over time?
Promotional financing options may be available for qualified buyers through our lending partners. Pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull that does not affect your score. Dreamery is not a lender; offers are subject to lender approval.
