What 1980s Coral Springs kitchens need from cabinetry
Eagle Trace, Ramblewood, Maplewood, Turtle Run, Cypress Run: the houses went up in the 1980s and their kitchens share a floor plan. A pass-through wall to the family room. A soffit above the wall cabinets. Eight-foot ceilings with thirty-inch uppers and a foot of dead space above them. Cabinets built for the room fix all three at once — the soffit comes out and the run goes to the ceiling, the pass-through becomes a peninsula of full-depth base boxes, and the refrigerator and pantry get built into one flush wall instead of standing proud of it.
Because the boxes are cut to the measured opening, there are no filler strips down the run and no blind corner you cannot reach into. The designer checks first whether the soffit is empty framing — in these houses it usually is — and whether the pass-through wall is carrying load, because that answer belongs in the quote and not in a change order after demolition.

Coral Springs, FL · Instant estimate
Know what your kitchen remodel costs before anyone walks through your door.
Six questions, sixty seconds, one honest range built from what we actually charge in South Florida — not a national average from a website that has never seen your kitchen.
What it costs in 2026
What Dreamery projects cost in 2026: a standard kitchen (15–25 linear ft of cabinets) runs $19,000–$24,500 at the Essential level, more for larger layouts and premium finishes; bathrooms from $6,000 for a powder room to $38,000–$49,000 in labor for a Premium primary suite, plus finish materials you buy at retail; flooring $10–18 per sq ft with a $3,000 minimum; whole-home renovations $35–75 per sq ft of living area. Every number comes from our own signed contracts, not a national average — get the range for your project below. 3D design package: $99 (regularly $500), credited in full when you go ahead.
Cabinets are quoted per project, not per foot from a brochure: the price depends on the number of boxes, door style, finish and hardware. Your 3D design comes with one written, itemized quote where the cabinet line is shown separately from countertops, labor and permits.
Because the cabinets come from our own shop, you skip the showroom markup: the same all-plywood, dovetail-drawer construction at direct-from-manufacturer pricing. Promotional financing is available for qualified buyers through our lending partners; pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull.
For full-kitchen price ranges see our kitchen remodel cost guide, and framed vs frameless for what the two constructions cost and look like.
Built here, installed here
Permits for plumbing and electrical work go through the City of Coral Springs with inspections at rough-in and final, and they are part of project management. Most neighborhoods here are HOA-governed: interior cabinetry rarely needs architectural review, but contractor access and dumpster rules are common and get checked before the schedule is set.
What is different in Coral Springs is the distance. The designer who measures your kitchen, the shop that cuts the boxes and the crew that installs them are all in the same town. A door that arrives scuffed is replaced the same week instead of reordered from a factory two states away. There is no lift and no booked service elevator — the truck parks in your driveway. And if you want to see how the boxes are built before you sign, ask at the consultation: the shop is a short drive from your house.

Questions homeowners ask us
Can I visit the shop and see the cabinets being built?
Yes. The shop is on Wiles Road in Coral Springs — ask your designer and we will arrange a time. Seeing a plywood box, a dovetail drawer and a finished door next to each other answers most construction questions faster than a brochure.
Can the soffit above my cabinets come out?
In most 1980s Coral Springs houses it is empty framing, and taking it out lets the cabinets run to the ceiling. The designer checks for ducts or plumbing inside it during the consultation, and whatever is found goes into the itemized quote before you sign.
What about the pass-through wall to the family room?
It is the most requested change here. If the wall is not load-bearing it comes out; if it is, a beam is routine work and priced in the quote. Either way the opening becomes a peninsula with full-depth base cabinets instead of a shelf.
Do you handle the HOA paperwork?
The routine part, yes: contractor access, work hours and dumpster placement are prepared by our coordinator before the schedule is set. Interior cabinetry does not usually need architectural review.
How soon can you start?
The 3D design and itemized quote arrive within 5 business days of the consultation. After the contract is signed the shop builds while the permit is in review, and a typical kitchen is installed 4–6 weeks later — with the finish date in the contract.
