Bathroom Remodeling in Doral, FL
About two-thirds of Doral homes went up in 2000 or later, many of them townhomes. If your bathroom still has the builder's finishes, the remodel is about the shower, the finishes and the storage.
- Builder bathrooms rebuilt
- Frameless glass, larger showers
- Vanities built in our own shop
Bathrooms in young Doral homes
Doral's housing is young. By Census estimates the median home was built in 2006, about two-thirds of homes went up in 2000 or later, and more than a quarter are townhouses. Where the plumbing behind the wall is sound, a bathroom remodel here is about what you see and use: a tub nobody uses, a shower with a curb and a sliding door, a stock vanity with little storage.
One plan turns the hall bath's tub-shower combination into a walk-in shower with a glass panel, or keeps the tub with new tile and a better valve. The primary bath gets a larger shower with a bench and a niche, and a vanity built to the wall in our Coral Springs shop, with drawers where a stock vanity has an open cabinet.
If the bathroom is upstairs in a townhome, the tile, glass and vanity go up the stairs by hand, and the waterproofing matters twice over, because a leak would reach the room below.

What it costs in 2026
What Dreamery bathrooms cost in 2026: a fixed labor price plus an itemized shopping list. You buy the finish materials (tile, fixtures, a stock vanity) at retail from our exact shopping list with no markup, or we build a custom vanity in our Coral Springs shop and quote it as its own line. A small full bath (5×8) runs $12,000–$15,500 in labor at the Essential level, $15,000–$19,500 at Signature and $19,000–$24,500 at Premium, plus roughly 35–70% of that for finish materials. Powder rooms start around $6,000; primary suites run $24,000–$49,000 in labor. Turning a tub into a walk-in shower adds about 25%. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. 3D design package: $99 (regularly $500), free when you sign the contract.
Every bathroom gets a fixed labor price and an itemized shopping list, with no markup: demolition, waterproofing, tile and stone setting, vanity and fixture installation, plumbing and electrical changes and project management are priced in writing before work starts. You buy the finish materials from the shopping list at store price, so nothing hides in an allowance.
When the vanity and storage come from our own shop, you skip the showroom markup on the cabinetry line. Promotional financing is available for qualified buyers through our lending partners; pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull.

Gated communities, townhomes and towers
Close to a third of Doral homes are in buildings of 50 units or more. In a tower the shower drain stays within reach of the building's stack, and the association approves the work first. In the gated townhome and house communities, such as the roughly 800 Lennar townhomes at Landmark near Downtown Doral, the HOA sets contractor registration at the gate, work hours and where trucks may park. Those rules are part of our schedule from the first day.

Questions homeowners ask us
Our Doral townhome is from the 2010s. Is a bathroom remodel worth it?
Not always. A sound shower and tile can stay, and a new vanity, mirror and lighting may be enough. A full remodel makes sense when you want the tub gone, a larger shower or different finishes. The consultation is free, and the designer will tell you which applies to your bathroom.
Can the upstairs bathroom in a townhome get a walk-in shower?
Yes. Upstairs adds planning for getting materials in: they go up by hand, and the calculator adds 5% for a second floor without an elevator. The shower is built as a waterproofed system before any tile goes on.
Does the HOA need to approve a bathroom remodel?
Interior work usually needs less than changes to the outside of the house. What gated communities do regulate is access: contractor registration, hours, parking for trucks and a dumpster. Your community's rules go into the schedule before work starts.
How much does a bathroom remodel cost in Doral?
We quote a fixed labor price, and you buy the finish materials at retail from our shopping list without markup. A mid-size full bath runs $19,000–$24,500 in labor at the Signature level, the level for frameless glass and a floating vanity. A custom vanity from our shop is quoted as its own line.
Can you replace a sliding shower door with frameless glass?
Yes, as part of rebuilding the shower. The glass is measured after the tile is finished, to the actual opening, and goes in last.
Can you build a linen tower to match the vanity?
Yes. Vanities, linen towers and medicine cabinets come from our Coral Springs shop in the same finish, sized to your walls.
