Condo bathrooms in Aventura
Nearly nine in ten Aventura homes are in buildings of 20 units or more, by Census estimates, and the median home was built in 1989. Most of those buildings went up between the 1970s and the 2000s. Options for a bathroom in one of them include a walk-in shower where the tub was, a vanity with drawers and larger tile with fewer grout lines.
In a tower the drain decides a lot. The shower drain has to reach the building's stack with enough slope, so it can move only so far. We find the stack at the consultation and draw the layout around it, which is also what the association wants to see. The vanity can come from our Coral Springs shop, sized to the wall and matched to your tile, or from the shopping list as a stock piece. Either way the shower is built as a waterproofed system before any tile goes on. In a building, a leak reaches the unit below.

You buy the finish materials (tile, fixtures, a stock vanity) at retail from our exact shopping list with no markup, or we build a custom vanity in our Coral Springs shop and quote it as its own line. A small full bath (5×8) runs $12,000–$15,500 in labor at the Essential level, $15,000–$19,500 at Signature and $19,000–$24,500 at Premium, plus roughly 35–70% of that for finish materials. Powder rooms start around $6,000; primary suites run $24,000–$49,000 in labor. Turning a tub into a walk-in shower adds about 25%. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. 3D design package: $99 (regularly $500), free when you sign the contract.
Every bathroom gets a fixed labor price and an itemized shopping list, with no markup: demolition, waterproofing, tile and stone setting, vanity and fixture installation, plumbing and electrical changes and project management are priced in writing before work starts. Building rules, elevators and the unit below
Associations in Aventura's towers generally want the work described and approved before it starts, a certificate of insurance, a booked service elevator for deliveries and debris, and loud work only during posted hours. Some also ask that the owner below be told before plumbing work. We collect your building's rules first, prepare the drawings and our part of the package, and plan the noisy days early.
Roughly 8% of Aventura homes are houses or townhomes. If the community has an HOA, its rules on contractor access and hours apply, and if the drain runs under a slab, moving it means opening the floor.

Can the tub in my Aventura condo become a walk-in shower?
Usually, within the limits the building sets. The new drain still has to reach the stack with enough slope, and the association signs off on the work first. We put blocking in the walls while they are open, so grab bars can go up now or later.
Does a curbless shower work in a tower?
Sometimes. A curbless floor slopes all the way to the drain, so the slab has to be recessed or the floor built up around the shower. Whether that is possible depends on the slab, and where it is not, a low curb is the simpler build. We check at the consultation, before you settle on a layout.
What does the association need before a bathroom remodel?
It varies by building. Expect a description of the work with drawings, a certificate of insurance in the form the association specifies, dates for the service elevator and set hours for demolition. We start from your building's checklist and prepare our part from the 3D design.
How much does a condo bathroom cost in Aventura?
We price the work as a fixed labor price, and you buy the finish materials at retail from our shopping list with no markup. A small full bath runs $12,000–$15,500 in labor at the Essential level. For a condo the calculator adds 15% plus a fixed amount for elevator bookings and restricted hours, and turning the tub into a shower adds about 25%. Can the vanity be built for my bathroom?
Yes. Vanities, linen towers and medicine cabinets come from our Coral Springs shop, with all-plywood boxes and soft-close hardware, sized to the wall. A custom vanity is quoted as its own line; a stock vanity from the shopping list is the other option.
How long will the bathroom be out of use?
That depends on the scope and on the building. A shower conversion takes less time than a full gut, and the association's approval comes before the start date. Once we start, the contract's finish date applies.
