Remodeling a kitchen in an Aventura condo
Aventura is a condo city. Developers started planning it around Turnberry in the early 1970s, it only became a city in 1995, and most of its homes are apartments in towers along the Intracoastal, Maule Lake and Country Club Drive. In the older towers the kitchen is often a closed room off the dining area, with a pass-through and not much counter.
The usual wish list is more light and more workspace. In a tower that means designing around what can't move: plumbing risers, concrete walls that belong to the structure, and a range hood that often has to recirculate because it can't vent outside. Inside those limits there is plenty to gain. A wider opening or a peninsula with stools, uppers that run to the ceiling, a built-in fridge on an appliance wall, lighting under the cabinets for the evenings.
Our designer comes to your unit with samples of doors and finishes, measures, and asks management for the building's renovation rules before drawing anything. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. The 3D design package is $99 (regularly $500), and free when you sign the contract.

What Dreamery kitchens cost in 2026: a standard kitchen (15–25 linear ft of cabinets) runs $19,000–$24,500 at the Essential level, $31,500–$41,000 at Signature and $42,000–$54,500 at Premium — turnkey without appliances: demolition, custom cabinets from our own factory, countertops, backsplash, plumbing and electrical, installation and project management. Small galley kitchens start around $14,000; large kitchens with an island run $26,000–$75,000 depending on finish. Condo logistics and layout changes are priced on top, and the calculator accounts for them. Aventura towers by decade, and what that means for your kitchen
Admirals Port went up in 1974. The two Turnberry Isle towers followed in 1979 and 1980, the Mystic Pointe towers mostly between 1988 and 1991, and the Williams Island buildings from 1985 into the 2010s. A building's age tells you a fair amount before any wall is opened: how the original kitchen was laid out, and how old the pipes behind it may be.
Associations here generally want an alteration application approved before work begins, along with an insurance certificate in the form they specify. Deliveries go up the service elevator in a booked window. Loud work stays inside posted hours. We build the drawings from your 3D design and fit the schedule to the building. Our Coral Springs shop is about 35 minutes from Aventura, so a second visit to recheck a wall or show a sample is easy to arrange.
Not all of Aventura is high-rise. Golden Pointe and a few other gated communities have houses and townhomes, where an HOA rather than a condo board decides on contractor access and work hours. Design and pricing work the same way there.

Questions homeowners ask us
Does my Aventura condo association have to approve the remodel?
In most buildings, yes. Management will typically ask for plans, a description of the work, an insurance certificate in the form the association specifies, and a reserved elevator for delivery days. Every building keeps its own checklist, so we start from yours and produce the plans and our share of the paperwork from the 3D design.
Can I open my condo kitchen to the living room?
Sometimes. In a concrete tower some walls are structural or carry a plumbing riser, and those stay put. Plain partitions can usually come out. We confirm what is inside a wall before the design removes it. When a wall has to stay, a wider opening or a peninsula with seating usually brings in most of the light.
How do cabinets get up to a high floor?
On the service elevator, in a window booked through management. Cabinets leave our shop as finished boxes, and tall pieces such as pantry units are planned around the size of the elevator cab, so nothing gets cut down in the hallway. Hallways and the elevator are protected on delivery day.
Can the work go on while I am away for the season?
Yes. Approve the 3D design, finishes and written price before you leave, and arrange access with management or someone you trust. We set the calendar with the building, so crew days, elevator bookings and deliveries are lined up while you are gone.
What is the timeline for an Aventura condo kitchen?
A typical kitchen is installed 4–6 weeks after the contract is signed. The finish date goes into the contract, with a penalty schedule if a delay is on our side. The association has to approve your application first and sets its own pace, so the start date is fixed once that approval is in hand.
Do you offer financing for Aventura projects?
