Remodeling a Jupiter kitchen
Jupiter's housing comes mostly from one long building period. By Census estimates about 37% of today's homes date from the 1980s and 17% from the 1990s, and only about 15% are older than 1980. About 44% are detached houses, and about one in six is an attached home such as a townhouse.
If your kitchen sits behind a wall or a peninsula, with a breakfast nook at one end and a soffit over the cabinets, one plan opens it toward the family room where the wall allows, replaces the peninsula with an island, and turns the nook into a pantry wall or a bigger table. Whether the wall can open depends on what it carries, which we find out before the design relies on it.

Small galley kitchens start around $14,000; large kitchens with an island run $26,000–$75,000 depending on finish. Condo logistics and layout changes are priced on top, and the calculator accounts for them. Club communities, Abacoa and the river
Some Jupiter communities are gated, and Admirals Cove, developed from the mid-1980s, is a member-owned club community with a marina and golf. In a community like that, the association sets contractor registration, hours and where trucks park, and we get those rules before the schedule is set.
Abacoa, which the town annexed in 1994 and began building in 1997, has townhomes and houses that are younger than most of Jupiter. Along the Loxahatchee River, in neighborhoods such as Pennock Point, original 1960s and 1970s houses are being replaced by new ones; some of those that remain still have their early kitchens.

Can you open our 1980s kitchen to the family room?
Usually. A partition can come out; a wall that carries the roof needs a beam, which adds cost and time. We find out which one you have during the consultation, so the 3D design and the price reflect it.
Do you work in Admirals Cove and Jonathan's Landing?
Yes. In gated club communities we get the association's rules first, such as contractor registration, work hours and where trucks may park, and the schedule is set around them. Our shop is about 75 minutes south, and the cabinets are finished there before they travel.
What does a kitchen remodel cost in Jupiter?

Usually, yes. Give us the model numbers and the cabinet openings are built to them, including panels for panel-ready models. If you are buying new appliances, choose them before the cabinets go into production.
