What Fort Lauderdale kitchens ask for
In Coral Ridge, Victoria Park, Rio Vista and out on the Las Olas Isles we see two patterns. The first is the mid-century home — 1950s and 60s, terrazzo floors, a closed kitchen with a pass-through — ready to have its kitchen wall opened into one bright entertaining space that flows to the pool and the dock. The second is the waterfront property that needs materials picked for the climate: moisture-stable plywood cabinetry instead of particleboard, UV-stable surfaces, hardware that does not corrode, ventilation sized for a Florida summer.
Along the beach and the Galt Ocean Mile the kitchen is in a high-rise, where the building sets the rules — board approval, insurance on file, elevator reservations, work hours — and the plumbing stack sets where the sink can go. We design within those limits from the first sketch, so approvals do not stall and the kitchen still gets the island and the storage.

A few quick questions, one honest range built from what we actually charge in South Florida — not a national average from a website that has never seen your kitchen.
What it costs in 2026
What Dreamery kitchens cost in 2026: a standard kitchen (15–25 linear ft of cabinets) runs $19,000–$24,500 at the Essential level, $31,500–$41,000 at Signature and $42,000–$54,500 at Premium — turnkey without appliances: demolition, custom cabinets from our own factory, countertops, backsplash, plumbing and electrical, installation and project management. Small galley kitchens start around $14,000; large kitchens with an island run $26,000–$75,000 depending on finish. Condo logistics and layout changes are priced on top, and the calculator accounts for them. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. 3D design package: $99 (regularly $500), free when you sign the contract.
Every project gets one written, itemized price that is fixed before work starts — cabinets, countertops, labor and project management on one page. No allowances that quietly grow later.
Because the cabinets come from our own shop, you skip the showroom markup: the same all-plywood, dovetail-drawer construction at direct-from-manufacturer pricing. Promotional financing is available for qualified buyers through our lending partners; pre-qualification takes about a minute with a soft credit pull.

Opening the wall and condo rules in Fort Lauderdale
Can the kitchen wall come out? In most mid-century Fort Lauderdale homes the wall between kitchen and living room is load-bearing, which means an engineered beam. It is routine for us and it is priced in the itemized quote, not discovered mid-project. Condos: we prepare the association's alteration package with drawings from the 3D design, carry the insurance buildings require, keep the plumbing within the unit's stack and sequence deliveries around elevator reservations.
Our shop is about 30 minutes away in Coral Springs, so Fort Lauderdale kitchens get the same day-by-day schedule and daily clean-up as projects next door to the factory.

The cabinetry worked out fantastic. I'm really pleased with the workmanship.

Questions homeowners ask us
We live in a Galt Ocean Mile high-rise. How do the cabinets and materials get up to the unit?
The building sets the rules, so the paperwork comes first: a certificate of insurance naming the association, approved work hours, a booked service elevator and floor protection in the corridors. Our coordinator files that package before the schedule is set, because a delivery that arrives without an elevator slot costs a day.
How long does a kitchen remodel take in Fort Lauderdale?
A typical kitchen is 4–6 weeks from signed contract to final walkthrough. Opening a load-bearing wall adds engineering and an inspection stage; condo approvals add lead time before work starts. You get a written finish date in the contract.
Can you remodel a kitchen in a Fort Lauderdale high-rise?
Yes — beachfront and Las Olas condos are a regular part of our work. We prepare the association's alteration package, carry the insurance buildings require, work within posted hours and design around the existing plumbing stack.
What cabinets hold up near the water?
All-plywood boxes instead of particleboard, sealed finishes, stainless or PVD hardware and soft-close slides rated for humidity — standard on every Dreamery kitchen because we build them ourselves in Coral Springs.
Do you handle condo and HOA approvals?
Yes. Condo board packages and HOA paperwork are prepared by our coordinator. It is part of project management, not an extra fee.
Can I see the design before committing?
Yes. The in-home measure and the written, itemized estimate are free. The 3D design package, a rendering of your new kitchen within 5 business days, is $99 instead of the regular $500, and free when you sign the contract.
Which Fort Lauderdale neighborhoods do you serve?
All of Fort Lauderdale — Coral Ridge, Victoria Park, Rio Vista, Las Olas Isles, Harbor Beach, Galt Ocean Mile, Imperial Point — and the surrounding towns: Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Plantation and Davie.
